Where it came from
Team Perseverance (UB02d) is a rare card from the 'Unknown Event' series, a specialized set designed to highlight core virtues within its fictional universe. The design utilizes a minimalist aesthetic, favoring clean lines and a muted color palette to emphasize the thematic weight of the card’s title. It was produced as a promotional release intended to reward dedicated engagement with the series’ narrative arcs.
The illustrative direction for the card was helmed by the series’ lead creative team, who aimed to evoke a sense of stoic determination rather than typical action-oriented motifs. While the series as a whole gained traction for its experimental storytelling, individual cards like UB02d are noted primarily by enthusiasts for their scarcity and the unique role they play in completing the full set documentation.
