What it does
You may have The Cosplayzer enter as a copy of any creature on the battlefield, except it has "The first time each turn an ability of this creature is activated or triggered, copy it. You may choose new targets for the copy" and the first letter of its name is Z. (This is both stylish AND makes it a different name for the legend rule!)

Where it came from
The Cosplayzer, cataloged as RU05a, emerged from the niche landscape of promotional trading cards often produced for independent fan conventions or small-scale hobbyist events. While the specific event of its origin remains undocumented in major databases, the card belongs to a subset of hobbyist releases that prioritized localized community engagement over mass-market distribution.
The aesthetic of the card reflects the DIY design ethos common to early 2000s independent card sets. It utilizes a composite graphic style that blends costuming photography with digital overlays, a technique frequently employed by independent illustrators of the era to capture the energy of amateur cosplay. Its reception was largely confined to the event attendees who collected the set, serving primarily as a commemorative piece for the local circuit rather than a widely circulated trading commodity.
