What it does
Whenever this creature attacks, look at the top six cards of your library. You may put a Cat creature card from among them onto the battlefield tapped and attacking. Put the rest of the cards on the bottom of your library in a random order. If you don't put a card onto the battlefield this way, create a token that's a tapped and attacking copy of Lurrus of the Dream-Den.

Where it came from
The Joiner of Cats, designated RZ04h, emerged from the Unknown Event series, a collection characterized by its surrealist interpretations and unconventional artistic direction. Produced during a period of experimentation within the hobby, the set was designed to challenge traditional aesthetic norms by blending mythological themes with mundane domesticity, grounding fantastical imagery in relatable, everyday scenarios.
The illustration was crafted by a lead artist focused on intricate linework and a muted, atmospheric color palette intended to evoke a sense of quiet mystery. Upon its release, the card was received as a niche curiosity among enthusiasts, noted primarily for its technical craftsmanship and the deliberate ambiguity of its subject matter, which has since become a hallmark of the Unknown Event set’s distinct visual identity.
