Transguild Promenade

Transguild Promenade was originally introduced in the Dissension expansion of the Ravnica block in 2006, serving as a functional land card that allows players to fix their mana base in multicolored decks at the cost of entering the battlefield tapped. When it was reprinted in the Commander 2016 set, it was included to support the complex four-color identity archetypes that defined the product's release, providing a budget-friendly utility land for players building diverse, non-synergistic color combinations.

The artwork for this version was provided by Noah Bradley, who utilized his signature landscape-focused style to capture the grand, bustling scale of the city-plane of Ravnica. Bradley’s design emphasizes the verticality and architectural density of the plane, depicting a shimmering, grand thoroughfare that reflects the magical energy of the city. Upon its release in the Commander 2016 preconstructed decks, the card was received as a reliable, if unremarkable, staple for players needing color fixing without the significant financial investment required for high-end dual lands.
