Tura Kennerüd, Skyknight // Tura Kennerüd, Skyknight

The Tura Kennerüd, Skyknight card is part of the Dominaria United Art Series, a specialized subset released by Wizards of the Coast in 2022. This set was designed to showcase the intricate illustrations from the Dominaria United expansion, presenting the artwork on a premium, borderless format without the standard game mechanics printed on the face. These cards were produced as collectible inserts found within collector booster packs, serving as a celebration of the visual storytelling that defines the Magic: The Gathering franchise.

The character of Tura Kennerüd was illustrated by artist Fajareka Setiawan, who focused on capturing the character's avian-inspired aesthetic and regal presence within the Dominaria setting. Setiawan’s design emphasizes the dynamic textures of Tura’s armor and the ethereal quality of the skyknight motif, aiming to ground the fantastical hero in a realistic, textured world. The release was well-received by fans and art collectors who value the high-resolution, distraction-free display of the game's evolving artistic direction.
