Unglued Pea-Brained Dinosaur

The Unglued Pea-Brained Dinosaur, designated as card number 45 within the Unfinity set of sticker sheets, was released by Wizards of the Coast in 2022. This item belongs to the Un-sets, a series of Magic: The Gathering expansions designed for casual, humorous play that deliberately pushes the boundaries of traditional card mechanics. The set introduced sticker technology, a meta-game mechanic requiring players to physically apply and remove adhesive stickers from their cards during a match to alter attributes like power, toughness, or keyword abilities.

The design of the sticker sheets reflects the whimsical, retro-futuristic aesthetic of the Unfinity carnival theme, with vibrant illustrations by various artists commissioned to capture a playful, chaotic energy. These sheets were intended to function as game accessories rather than standard cards, emphasizing the set's focus on non-traditional interactions. Reception was mixed among the player base, as some appreciated the creative expansion of gameplay possibilities, while others found the physical nature of the stickers cumbersome for long-term card preservation.
