As CLAMP's popularity exploded globally with series like Cardcaptor Sakura and Magic Knight Rayearth, demand for their early, hard-to-find materials led secondary publishers and independent sellers to aggregate these ephemeral documents. These reproductions were intended to preserve the group's early creative output for an international audience that lacked access to the original Japanese fan club materials.
