Moriarty the Patriot: The Remains 3

Moriarty the Patriot: The Remains is a series of spin-off and supplementary volumes designed to expand upon the world of the original Moriarty the Patriot manga, which reimagines the life and motivations of Sherlock Holmes's arch-nemesis. This particular volume, released under the Star Comics label in Italy, serves as a collection of side stories and illustrations that provide deeper character studies for the ensemble cast, further exploring the Victorian-era settings and intricate conspiracies central to the main narrative.

The visual identity of the series is heavily defined by the work of illustrator Hikaru Miyoshi. Miyoshi’s artistic approach prioritizes a gothic, refined aesthetic that emphasizes the elegant contrast between the protagonists' sophisticated personas and the grittier, clandestine themes of the story. The series has been received as a faithful expansion of the original Ryosuke Takeuchi and Hikaru Miyoshi manga, offering fans a more intimate look at the aesthetic world-building and character nuances that define the Moriarty franchise.
