Where it came from
Saint Seiya: Saintia Sho Memories is a supplementary volume released as part of the expanded Saint Seiya universe, serving as a companion to the Saintia Sho manga series illustrated by Chimaki Kuori and overseen by franchise creator Masami Kurumada. The volume was created to delve deeper into the narrative background and character history of the Saintias, the personal guard of the goddess Athena, filling in gaps between the central plot arcs of the spin-off.
The design and content of the volume were curated to satisfy long-term fans of the Saint Seiya franchise, featuring character profile sketches, original artwork, and supplementary lore that bridges the gap between classic continuity and the contemporary spin-off. It was received as a niche collector’s piece, aimed primarily at readers invested in the expanded mythological scope of Kuori’s artistic interpretation of the Silver Saint mythos.
