Saint Seiya: Saintia Sho Vol. 14

Saintia Sho serves as a spin-off to Masami Kurumada's classic 1980s manga series, Saint Seiya. Created by Chimaki Kuori and serialized starting in 2013, the series shifts the perspective to the Saintias, a specialized group of female warriors serving the goddess Athena. This narrative choice was designed to flesh out the lore of the Sanctuary while maintaining the high-stakes action and mythological aesthetic that defined the original franchise.

Volume 14 represents the conclusion of the Saintia Sho series, originally published in Japan by Akita Shoten and brought to English-speaking audiences by Seven Seas Entertainment. Chimaki Kuori’s artistic direction was praised for evolving the visual language of the Saint Seiya universe, blending intricate character designs with the traditional dynamic combat sequences expected of the Shonen Champion demographic. The volume was received as a definitive ending that sought to bridge the timeline with the core Saint Seiya events.
