Buggy

The OP03-032 Buggy card was released as part of the Pillars of Strength set in the One Piece Card Game, a strategic trading card game launched by Bandai in 2022. This specific card was distributed during pre-release events, which serve as promotional windows for players to experience new mechanics and sets before their official mass-market debut. As a pre-release promotional item, it holds a distinct position within the game's ecosystem, often sought after for its unique timestamp or promotional foil treatment that differentiates it from the standard card found in booster packs.

The card features the character Buggy the Clown, one of the earliest antagonists from the One Piece franchise created by Eiichiro Oda. The design prioritizes the game’s signature aesthetic, which utilizes high-quality illustrations from the anime and manga. The card mechanics reflect Buggy's role as a character who often relies on luck and his ability to separate his body parts to evade attacks. Upon release, cards from the Pillars of Strength set were well-received by the player base for balancing tactical complexity with the nostalgic appeal of long-standing series characters.
