Curly.Dadan

Curly Dadan, a prominent character from the One Piece universe, was featured in the -PARAMOUNT WAR- set released in 2023. This set commemorates the critical Marineford arc, a pivotal storyline where Dadan’s role as the surrogate mother to Luffy and Ace becomes deeply poignant. The design utilizes official animation stills to capture her rugged, protective nature, placing her within the red card pool to reflect her strong-willed spirit and connection to the revolutionary and bandit factions.

The card was designed to support aggressive deck archetypes within the One Piece Card Game, focusing on her ability to search and rally lower-cost characters. Illustrators aimed to represent her distinct character design—a blend of gruff authority and hidden maternal warmth—that defines her presence in the series. Upon release, players valued the card for its utility in strategic play, and it remains a staple for fans looking to build decks centered on the thematic elements of the mountain bandits and the childhood era of the central protagonists.
