Izo

Izo is a character card featured in the Emperors in the New World set, released as part of the ongoing One Piece Card Game. This set draws its thematic inspiration from the high-stakes conflicts and major power players encountered in the Wano Country arc and subsequent manga chapters. The card functions as a character piece within the game mechanics, intended to support specific color-aligned strategies by reflecting the agility and tactical role Izo played during the Battle of Onigashima.

The artwork for this card follows the established aesthetic of the trading card game, which utilizes dynamic illustrations sourced directly from Eiichiro Oda's original character designs. It was designed to capture Izo's stoic yet determined demeanor, utilizing a signature color palette consistent with his portrayal as a commander of the Whitebeard Pirates. The card was received by the player community as a strategic utility piece, appreciated for its specific ability set that interacts with the broader ruleset of the Emperors in the New World expansion.
