Jaguar.D.Saul

The Jaguar D. Saul character card from the One Piece Card Game set A Fist of Divine Speed, numbered OP11-075, draws its visual inspiration from the character's pivotal role in the Enies Lobby arc. Created as part of the trading card game's ongoing expansion of the One Piece narrative, the design prioritizes the character’s distinct giant stature and his emotional dedication to the preservation of Ohara's historical knowledge. Illustrators for the set maintain a stylistic consistency that reflects the art direction of Eiichiro Oda, ensuring the character’s rugged appearance and signature laugh are translated faithfully into the game's competitive format.

Upon release, this card was received as a functional utility piece within the mechanics of the game, intended to represent the character's protective nature and enduring influence on the story's lore. Its design philosophy centers on integrating narrative-heavy character moments into the tactical structure of the card game, appealing to both players who utilize its specific ability set and collectors who seek to complete the comprehensive rosters of characters featured in the Fist of Divine Speed set.
