Kuromarimo

Kuromarimo was introduced in the Two Legends expansion set for the One Piece Card Game, released to celebrate the long-running series' rich history of antagonists and supporting characters. This card features the character from the Drum Island arc, where he serves as a loyal member of the Wapol Pirates, utilizing his unique ability to turn his own hair into explosive weaponry. The card was designed to integrate into the set's broader mechanical focus on the Wapol Pirate crew, emphasizing the quirky and often volatile nature of these characters.

The illustration captures Kuromarimo in his signature exuberant style, maintaining the distinct aesthetic established by Eiichiro Oda’s original manga. The character design is intended to reflect his comic relief persona while translating his dangerous, hair-based combat tactics into the game's tactical landscape. Upon its release, the card was well-received by players focusing on thematic decks, valued more for its niche utility within the Wapol archetype than for competitive dominance in the broader meta.
