Kuzan

Kuzan (OP02-121) was originally released in the Paramount War [OP-02] expansion set of the One Piece Card Game. Designed to represent the former Navy Admiral Aokiji, the card is a Secret Rare variant that features the character's signature ice-based abilities, central to the game's strategy involving cost-reduction mechanics. It was later reprinted as part of the PRB-01 'The Best' collection, a retrospective set curated to include some of the most iconic and mechanically impactful cards from the game's initial years.

The card's design mirrors the visual style of Eiichiro Oda's original manga illustrations, emphasizing Kuzan's stoic demeanor and his transition between his Admiral identity and his later affiliation with the Blackbeard Pirates. Within the community, the card is highly regarded for its utility in competitive play, particularly for its ability to manipulate the costs of opposing characters. Its inclusion in 'The Best' reflects its status as a foundational piece for players utilizing Black-colored decks.
