Kuzan

Released in early 2023 as part of the Paramount War expansion for the One Piece Card Game, this card depicts the former Marine Admiral Kuzan, also known as Aokiji. The set was designed to capture the intensity and key figures of the iconic Marineford arc, bringing pivotal characters from the manga and anime to the trading card format. The artwork emphasizes Kuzan's composed yet formidable presence during the conflict, serving as a cornerstone for the Black-colored deck archetype that prioritizes character reduction and board control.

The card was illustrated with a focus on capturing the character's signature ice-based abilities and his internal conflict during the war. It received positive attention from players for its mechanical versatility, specifically its ability to reduce the cost of opposing characters, which became a staple strategy in the competitive meta. As a high-rarity Super Rare card, it remains a sought-after piece for collectors focusing on the series' major antagonists and historical Marine figures.
