Magellan

Magellan, the warden of Impel Down, appears in the Kingdoms of Intrigue set (OP04) of the One Piece Card Game. The set focuses on the Alabasta and Impel Down arcs, bringing iconic antagonists and supporting characters from these storylines into the game's strategic landscape. Released by Bandai, this card captures Magellan’s imposing presence as he serves as the primary barrier against prisoners attempting to escape the deep-sea fortress.

The character design reflects Eiichiro Oda's original vision of the formidable warden, emphasizing his Doku Doku no Mi poison-based powers and his uncompromising sense of justice. As a high-cost character card, it is designed to exert significant pressure on the board, mirroring his role as a near-invincible obstacle within the narrative of the series. The artwork follows the established aesthetic of the trading card game, utilizing sharp, high-contrast imagery to differentiate it from the standard character roster.
