Tashigi (Alternate Art)

The Tashigi card from the Extra Booster: One Piece Heroines Edition (EB03) was released in 2024 as part of a specialized set focused on the prominent female characters of the One Piece franchise. This set was designed to highlight the breadth of the series' cast beyond its primary male protagonists, offering collectors unique art styles that diverge from the standard core sets. As an alternate art character card, it serves as a high-rarity variant intended to appeal to both competitive players and collectors who prioritize the aesthetic presentation of the game's illustrations.

The design of this card reflects the clean, dynamic aesthetic typical of the One Piece Card Game's visual language, focusing on Tashigi's role as a skilled swords-woman in the Marine. The alternate art treatment emphasizes character detail through premium foiling and specific artistic flourishes commissioned to showcase her personality and equipment. Upon its release, the card was well-received by the community, particularly among fans of the character, as it provided a sophisticated collectible version of a series regular who had previously received less emphasis in the game's promotional materials.
