Urouge

Urouge, known as the Mad Monk, appears as a character card in the One Piece Card Game's second starter deck, -Worst Generation- [ST-02], which was released in 2022 to coincide with the global launch of the game. The deck focuses on the infamous pirate group known as the Worst Generation, bringing together key figures who arrived at the Sabaody Archipelago at the same time as the Straw Hat Pirates. This card specifically depicts Urouge in his signature monk-like attire, consistent with his aesthetic as a captain of the Fallen Monk Pirates.

The artwork for this card reflects the clean, dynamic style utilized by Bandai for the One Piece Card Game, prioritizing readability for gameplay while maintaining the distinct visual identity established by Eiichiro Oda in the source manga. As a starter deck inclusion, the card is designed to serve as a foundational piece for players exploring the Purple color identity within the game's mechanics. It was well-received by fans for its inclusion of an often underrepresented character in the series, offering a functional defensive utility that fits the character's tank-like reputation in the narrative.
