What it does
If the Pokémon using this attack has Grass and Lightning basic Energy cards attached to it, the Defending Pokémon is now Asleep and Poisoned. If the Pokémon using this attack has Water and Lightning basic Energy cards attached to it, this attack does 30 damage plus 10 more damage and lets you put 1 damage counter on each of your opponent's Benched Pokémon.
Attach this card to 1 of your Evolved Grass, Water, or Lightning Pokémon in play. That Pokémon may use this card's attack instead of its own. At the end of your turn, discard Miracle Sphere γ.

Where it came from
Miracle Sphere γ, cataloged as 131/144, was released in the Skyridge expansion of the Pokémon Trading Card Game in 2003. This set holds a significant place in the hobby as the final expansion produced by Wizards of the Coast before The Pokémon Company International took over production. Because of its late-cycle timing and limited print run compared to earlier sets, Skyridge is frequently cited by collectors for its scarcity and its distinctive aesthetic, which featured a unique, minimalist card layout designed to accommodate the integration of the Nintendo e-Reader peripheral.
The art and design philosophy behind the Skyridge set focused on a departure from the established visual norms of the era. The card incorporates a clean, technical frame that allowed for e-Reader dot-code strips, which granted players access to specialized digital content when scanned. Miracle Sphere γ is a Trainer card within this series, characterized by a refined, utilitarian illustration style that complements the set's mechanical emphasis. While the e-Reader technology itself saw limited long-term adoption, the design remains a point of interest for collectors documenting the evolution of the game's presentation during the transition between eras.
