Where it came from
Released in 2023 under the independent imprint Le Syndicat des Scorpions, Des fleurs séchées dans la résine represents a contemporary exploration of experimental soundscapes by artist Régis Turner. The work emerged from a period of introspective production, focusing on the intersection of organic texture and synthetic audio manipulation, which characterizes the artist's recent departure from more traditional compositional structures.
The aesthetic of the record reflects a deliberate minimalism, aligning with the label’s emphasis on intimate, conceptual releases that prioritize atmosphere over commercial accessibility. By eschewing a traditional catalog number, the release highlights its status as a boutique project intended for a niche audience of avant-garde enthusiasts who value the physical materiality of the medium as a component of the listening experience.
