Halte Dein Wort / Was Wird Sein, Wenn Wir Uns Wiedersehn

Released in 1973 under the catalog number 4 55 901, this 7-inch single features Ingrid Raack, a popular German singer known for her contributions to the East German pop scene. The record was produced by AMIGA, the state-owned record label of the German Democratic Republic, which served as the primary musical outlet for popular music within the country during that era. It captures the aesthetic of the socialist Schlager style, focusing on accessible, melodic arrangements typical of AMIGA's output for radio and dance hall consumption.

The design and production of this single reflect the functional approach of East German state recording agencies, prioritizing clear, identifiable branding and standard distribution methods for domestic artists. As part of a vast catalog of singles meant for the general public, it represents a snapshot of the cultural climate in the GDR, where popular artists like Raack were curated to balance entertainment value with the state's cultural standards. It remains a notable piece for collectors interested in the specific pop music history of Cold War-era East Germany.
