Ich Glaub, Es Geht Los / Alles Gute Zum Geburtstag

Released in 1990 by the independent label Mikado Records, this single by Ulli Werner represents the niche pop production scene in Germany at the time. The track Ich Glaub, Es Geht Los, paired with Alles Gute Zum Geburtstag, reflects the upbeat, synth-driven aesthetic that characterized many regional independent releases during the late eighties and early nineties. These records were often intended for local distribution or as specialty novelty items, capturing a specific moment in the transition of German pop music.

As a catalog entry for Mikado Records, the item is indicative of the smaller production houses that supported independent artists outside of the major industry conglomerates. The cover art and design maintain the straightforward, functional minimalism common to low-budget singles from this era, focusing on promotional accessibility rather than complex artistic statement. While not widely documented in mainstream music history, it remains a preserved artifact of Germany's independent recording heritage.
