Where it came from
This 12-inch vinyl release, featuring tracks by various artists, emerged in 2005 as a bootleg pressing. Such records were typical of the era's dance music culture, often produced by anonymous labels to distribute popular club edits or remixes that were otherwise unavailable through official commercial channels. These pressings frequently utilized white-label formats, omitting identifying label branding to bypass standard distribution and licensing protocols while circulating popular tracks among working DJs.
The tracks included—such as the remix of the Bass Bumpers' Night in Motion—reflect the mid-2000s transition in dance music, where classic Eurodance and trance elements were being repackaged for contemporary club floors. Because this item was produced outside of formal commercial studio oversight, there is no official designer or credited illustrator. The aesthetic focuses purely on utility, prioritized for professional performance in a nightlife setting rather than retail presentation.
