Kli-Kla-Klawitter 2. Folge

Released in 1975 by the Poly label, this record serves as the second installment in the audio series derived from the popular West German children's television program Kli-Kla-Klawitter. The show, which aired on ZDF, featured a surreal and imaginative aesthetic centered around the character Klawitter, a whimsical creature that lived in a colorful, abstract environment. The audio adaptations were designed to extend the television experience into the home, allowing children to revisit the stories and songs that defined the series' distinctive, slightly psychedelic approach to educational entertainment.

The audio production was created to capitalize on the success of the television program, utilizing the original voice actors and iconic theme music to maintain continuity for young listeners. The cover art and production design reflect the era's bold use of color and fantastical illustration, hallmarks of 1970s German youth media. While the series was a staple of German childhoods during the decade, it remains primarily a cultural artifact of 1970s public broadcasting, celebrated today for its unique blend of experimental visuals and catchy, narrative-driven songwriting.
