Seljaci Smo Mi / Nemoj Plakat, moja Mila Nano-Izvorne Bosanske Narodne Pjesme (Iz Okolice Dervente)

Released in 1972 on the Derventski List label, this recording features the Pijetlović brothers, traditional folk musicians deeply rooted in the musical culture of the Derventa region in northern Bosnia and Herzegovina. The record serves as a localized archival effort to preserve Izvorne Bosanske Narodne Pjesme, or indigenous Bosnian folk songs, which were characterized by their distinct vocal harmonies and instrumental accompaniment typically involving the šargija and violin.

The design and production of this release represent the era's focus on documenting regional cultural identities through small-scale regional labels. While specific design credits are rarely attributed for such niche folk pressings, the aesthetic often centered on traditional motifs to appeal to the local Derventa community. The record was received primarily as a cultural artifact meant to maintain the continuity of rural Bosnian folk music, serving more as a communal touchstone than a mainstream commercial product.
