Yale-Yeli (Hava Netse Bamahol) / Escondete Lunita / La Burrita Catalina / Cha Cha Cha Con Amor

Released in 1962 on the Spanish label Belter, this extended play record by Paquito Jerez reflects the vibrant intersection of Latin music and mid-century Spanish popular culture. During this era, Belter was instrumental in bridging the gap between Latin American rhythms and the domestic Spanish market, often producing high-energy recordings designed for dance halls and social clubs that were eager to embrace the global fascination with mambo and cha-cha-chá.

The record features a curated selection of dance tracks, including 'Yale-Yeli' and 'Cha Cha Cha Con Amor', which showcased Jerez’s versatility as a performer within the thriving orchestration style of the time. While the specific production design follows the standardized, economical aesthetic typical of Belter's EP series from the early 1960s, the collection serves as a historical document of the international musical exchange that defined the Spanish entertainment industry before the later rise of pop-rock dominance.
