Baby Dragon

Baby Dragon was originally released in the Japanese OCG set Vol. 2 in 1999 and subsequently introduced to Western audiences in the Metal Raiders booster set in 2002. As a classic normal monster, it serves as a foundational piece of early Yu-Gi-Oh! history, capturing the whimsical, fantasy-inspired art style that defined the franchise's initial appeal. Its design is credited to the creative team at Konami and Kazuki Takahashi, intended to provide a low-level dragon monster that could bridge the gap between simple cards and the more powerful Fusion monsters of the era.
