Bottomless Trap Hole

Bottomless Trap Hole was originally introduced in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game's Magician's Force expansion in 2003. Designed as a high-impact counter to powerful monster summons, the card reflects the game's shift toward reactive trap cards that could instantly remove threats from the field. Its enduring popularity stems from its straightforward but devastating effect, which allows players to banish monsters with 1500 or more attack points the moment they are summoned.

This specific iteration, numbered PGLD-EN069, was released in the 2014 Premium Gold set. This set was notable for introducing a distinct gold-bordered, gold-lettered card aesthetic designed to elevate the visual prestige of iconic competitive cards. The Premium Gold design was widely received as a premium upgrade to the card's original look, aiming to provide veteran players with a more refined, collectible version of a staple utility card that had remained a tournament-level necessity for over a decade.
