Call of the Haunted

Call of the Haunted was originally released in the 2002 Metal Raiders expansion set, marking its debut as one of the quintessential resurrection cards in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. Designed as a continuous trap card, it allows players to special summon a monster from their graveyard to the field, creating a pivotal mechanic for graveyard recovery that has influenced competitive play for decades. The card’s iconic artwork, featuring a skeletal figure emerging from a grave, encapsulates the dark, gothic aesthetic prevalent in the early era of the franchise's visual design.

The Battle Pack: Epic Dawn version, designated BP01-EN049, was released in 2012 as part of a specialized set designed for the draft format. In this context, the card was reprinted to provide players with essential utility and board presence during limited-format play sessions. This specific print features the 'Rare' holographic finish, maintaining the classic design while serving as a functional staple for players looking to balance their draft decks with reliable defensive and recovery options.
