Call of the Haunted

Call of the Haunted is one of the most iconic trap cards in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, first introduced in the early 2000s during the game's formative years. It was designed as a continuous trap card that allows a player to target one monster in their graveyard and special summon it to the field in attack position, providing a critical utility for reviving fallen assets. Its design reflects the game's focus on momentum and graveyard management, serving as a staple in competitive decks for its ability to turn the tide of a duel at a moment's notice.

The version included in Battle Pack 3: Monster League, numbered BP03-EN187, was released as a common rarity card. Battle Pack 3 was specifically curated to create a balanced drafting and sealed-play environment, focusing on powerful monsters and versatile support cards. By including a classic staple like Call of the Haunted as a common, the set ensured that players could easily access essential utility cards to support the pack's diverse roster of monsters, reinforcing the card's enduring reputation as a fundamental element of deck construction.
