Card Trooper

Card Trooper first debuted in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as part of the 2007 Tactical Evolution expansion. It quickly became a staple in competitive play due to its versatile effect, which allows players to send cards from the top of their deck to the graveyard to gain attack power. This ability, known as 'milling,' proved highly effective in graveyard-focused strategies, making the card a sought-after utility monster for many years.

The card was later reprinted as a common in the Ra Yellow Mega Pack in 2012, which aimed to make popular cards from various sets more accessible to casual collectors and players. Featuring artwork that depicts a mechanical soldier, the design fits within the Machine-type aesthetic that Konami often employed for cards with disruptive or tactical utility. While the mechanical soldier design remains iconic, the card is primarily valued for its historical impact on deck-thinning mechanics rather than its visual artistry.
