Dark Hole

Dark Hole originated in the earliest days of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, first appearing in the 2002 Metal Raiders set. Designed as a powerful board-clearing spell card, its simple yet devastating effect—destroying all monsters on the field—made it a foundational piece of the game's competitive landscape. The card became a hallmark of strategic play, forcing duelists to balance aggressive expansion with the constant threat of a total reset.

The version appearing in Turbo Pack: Booster Five, released in 2011, features the card in an ultra-rare rarity, a format specifically curated for tournament prize support and hobby store distribution. During this era of the game, the card's inclusion served as a nod to the classic staples that defined the franchise’s history. The design remains faithful to the original minimalist aesthetic, centered on a foreboding, abyssal swirling vortex that has become one of the most recognizable pieces of iconography in trading card gaming.
