Fog King

Fog King was originally introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game as part of the War of the Giants: Round 2 set, which was released by Konami in 2014. This set functioned as a battle pack designed specifically for draft-style gameplay, allowing players to build decks from randomized pools of cards on the spot. Fog King stood out within this environment due to its unique ability to be Normal Summoned without Tributing by setting its original ATK to 0, or by Tributing monsters to gain ATK equal to their combined original stats, making it a versatile utility card for board control.

The card's design features an imposing, ethereal figure associated with the water attribute and machine type. In the broader context of the series, the card art and effect were crafted to capture a sense of elemental dominance on the field. As a staple of the Battle Pack series, it was generally well-received by players seeking flexible tactical options during limited play, earning its Ultra Rare status in the Round 2 collection as a sought-after pull for both its thematic artwork and its strategic utility.
