Fushi No Tori

Fushi No Tori was released in the Legacy of Darkness expansion in 2003, a pivotal set in the early North American run of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. Following the success of the base sets, Legacy of Darkness was designed to introduce more complex mechanical interactions, bringing in cards that relied on graveyard manipulation and specific activation conditions, which shifted the game's tempo away from simple high-attack beatdown strategies.
