Igknight Squire was originally released as part of the Clash of Rebellions core set in 2015 before being reprinted as a common in the 2016 Mega-Tin Mega Pack. It represents a member of the Igknight archetype, a group of Fire-attribute Warrior-type monsters introduced during the Arc-V era of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. These cards feature a distinctive mechanical aesthetic that blends fantasy knight imagery with steampunk-inspired technology, designed to facilitate a rapid, aggressive playstyle centered on Pendulum Summoning.
