Provenance

Where it came from

Last Will was originally introduced in the early years of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, serving as a powerful spell card that allowed players to special summon a monster from their deck under specific graveyard-related conditions. Released in Tournament Pack 7 as a common rarity, this printing provided players with accessible means to build complex board states, reflecting the game's evolving focus on resource management and deck searching mechanics during the classic era.

The card's design and mechanical utility eventually led to its inclusion on the Forbidden and Limited list due to its ability to generate significant card advantage. The artwork, which depicts a somber testament, captures the thematic essence of its effect—bringing a character back into play after another has been lost. While the Tournament Pack 7 version is a standard common, it remains a notable piece of history for collectors interested in the card's competitive journey and its transition from a staple tool to a restricted legacy card.
