Light of Intervention was released in the Duel Terminal 2 expansion, which served as the second installment in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Terminal arcade game series. The set was designed to integrate the arcade gameplay experience with the traditional Trading Card Game, allowing players to use their physical deck to influence digital battles.
