Mirror Force

Mirror Force was first introduced in the early years of the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, serving as one of the most iconic defensive trap cards in the franchise. It was designed to punish aggressive playstyles by destroying all attack-position monsters the opponent controls when they declare an attack, a mechanic that fundamentally altered the flow of duels upon its release. The card's enduring popularity stems from its ability to turn the tide of a game instantly, establishing it as a staple in competitive decks for many years.

The version from Yugi's Legendary Decks, numbered YGLD-ENC36, was released as a common card within a commemorative collection designed to celebrate the history of the original series protagonist, Yugi Muto. This set was curated to provide players with access to key cards that defined Yugi's dueling strategy throughout the anime and manga. As a reprint, this specific iteration brought a legendary gameplay element to a modern audience, maintaining the classic design and functionality that helped define the game's defensive landscape.
