Nobleman of Crossout

Nobleman of Crossout was first introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in the Pharaoh's Servant expansion in 2002. As a spell card designed to counter face-down defensive monsters, it quickly became a staple in competitive play. Its inclusion in Dark Beginning 1, a compilation set released in 2004, allowed newer players to acquire essential utility cards that had previously been harder to obtain, cementing the card's status as a fundamental tool for deck building during the early years of the game.

The card's design features an illustration of a masked figure, reflecting the game's aesthetic of blending fantasy archetypes with tactical combat mechanics. It was created by Konami’s design team to force players to interact with the hidden information mechanics of face-down cards.
