Raidraptor - Singing Lanius

Raidraptor - Singing Lanius was released in the 2016 booster set Wing Raiders, an expansion designed to bolster the Raidraptor archetype popularized by the character Shun Kurosaki in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V anime series. This card was introduced to provide players with a reliable way to special summon monsters to the field, facilitating the rapid Xyz Summoning maneuvers that define the strategy. It serves as a mechanical utility piece that emphasizes the aggressive, swarming nature of the Winged Beast theme.

The design of the card reflects the aesthetic established by the Raidraptor archetype, which features mechanized, metallic avian creatures. Like other monsters in this series, the visual style utilizes a sleek, industrial look that contrasts with traditional avian designs. Upon its release, players recognized it as a staple for deck consistency, valued primarily for its ease of use in maintaining field presence, though it did not carry the same collector demand as higher-rarity counterparts within the same set.
