Raidraptor - Fuzzy Lanius

Raidraptor - Fuzzy Lanius debuted in the 2016 Wing Raiders booster set, an expansion designed specifically to support the Xyz-focused strategies of characters from the Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V anime series. This card was engineered to provide necessary consistency for Raidraptor decks, allowing players to search for additional copies of itself and facilitating the rapid summon of Rank 4 Xyz monsters. Its design reflects the series' aesthetic of mechanical avian warriors, emphasizing a playstyle centered on swarming the field.

The card was illustrated with a sharp, industrial visual style characteristic of the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game's ongoing aesthetic evolution. While it functions as a standard common-rarity utility piece, it became a cornerstone for players attempting to build competitive Raidraptor decks during the mid-2010s. Its reception was largely defined by its utility in enabling complex, multi-step combos, cementing its place as a staple within its specific archetype rather than a standalone collectable rarity.
