Reinforcement of the Army

Reinforcement of the Army was first released in the Legacy of Darkness expansion, which debuted in the TCG in 2003. As a signature search card for Warrior-type monsters, it was designed to provide mechanical consistency to early archetypes, allowing players to pull specific utility monsters directly from their deck. Its emergence reflected a shift toward more disciplined deck-building strategies, moving away from high-variance play and toward the card advantage systems that would come to define competitive dueling.
