Where it came from
Reinforcement of the Army is a quintessential support card in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, originally debuting in the 2004 expansion set Magician's Force. Designed to provide consistency to decks relying on Warrior-type monsters, the card allows a player to search their deck for a low-level warrior and add it to their hand. Its utility made it a staple in competitive play for nearly two decades, leading to numerous reprints across various rarity tiers and product lines.
The Magnificent Mavens version, cataloged as MAMA-EN108, was released in late 2022 as part of a deluxe box set designed to provide players with highly sought-after staples and specialized archetype support. Featuring an ultra-rare finish, this printing reflects the card's enduring status as a fundamental tool in deck-building. It is widely recognized for its clean, iconic illustration and its vital role in enabling the strategies of countless warrior-themed decks.
