Revival Jam

Revival Jam was first introduced to the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game in the Pharaoh's Servant expansion in 2002. It was designed as a thematic monster centered on the concept of regeneration, represented by its ability to special summon itself back to the field during the owner's standby phase if destroyed in battle. This mechanic made it a notable defensive staple in the game's early years, often paired with cards like Jam Breeding Machine to generate tokens.

The card was later included in the Retro Pack 2 collection, released in 2009, which served as a reprint set for players looking to acquire older, out-of-print cards. The illustration depicts a gelatinous, sentient mass of liquid, reflecting the creature's status as an elemental spirit of slime. It is part of a small lineage of slime-type monsters that have maintained a consistent presence in casual play due to their unique, persistent mechanics.
