Shaddoll Schism

Shaddoll Schism was first introduced in the Rise of the Duelist core set in 2020. It was designed as a powerful piece of utility support for the Shaddoll archetype, a group of Spellcaster monsters defined by their flip effects and fusion mechanics. The card acts as a repeatable fusion engine that utilizes the graveyard as a resource, allowing players to summon powerful fusion monsters while disrupting the opponent's field through attribute-based banishing.

The card was illustrated by the Konami digital art team, maintaining the dark, puppet-like aesthetic consistent with the Shaddoll lore. It was widely praised by competitive players for its ability to turn a standard game state into a complex tactical challenge, becoming a staple in high-level play. The version found in the 25th Anniversary Rarity Collection, designated RA01-EN077, features the specific holographic foiling introduced for that celebratory set, making it a popular choice for players looking to upgrade the aesthetic of their decks.
