Where it came from
The Return to the Normal was originally released as a Super Rare card in the 2019 Rising Rampage booster set before being reprinted as a Common in the 2020 Tin of Lost Memories Mega Pack. This card functions as a Normal Trap that allows a player to Special Summon a Normal Monster from their Graveyard, reflecting the game's ongoing efforts to provide legacy support for older, non-effect monster archetypes that defined the early era of Yu-Gi-Oh.
The design of the card features artwork consistent with the aesthetic of the Yu-Gi-Oh Trading Card Game, which is developed by Konami. While the card is not a tournament staple, it holds a specific niche in casual play for players building themed decks around iconic Normal Monsters. Its inclusion in the 2020 Tin of Lost Memories was part of a larger initiative to make a broad selection of cards from the previous year's sets more accessible to the general player base.
