Ursarctic Polari

Ursarctic Polari was introduced in the 2021 Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG set Ancient Guardians, a deck-build pack designed to introduce unique archetypes with specific mechanical gimmicks. As a Level 7 Synchro Monster, it serves as a central engine piece for the Ursarctic archetype, which is inspired by mythological bears and celestial constellations. The card was created to provide a shortcut to summoning the archetype's larger monsters by leveraging the set's focus on high-level special summoning through tributing cards from the hand.

The card's design features the signature icy, cosmic aesthetic consistent with the Ursarctic theme, blending heavy machinery with the likeness of a star-forged bear. Like many cards in the Ancient Guardians set, the illustration aims to evoke a sense of vast, arctic space. Upon release, it was noted by players for its utility in searching the archetype's field spell, making it a staple for those attempting to make the unconventional and high-resource-cost Ursarctic strategy viable in competitive play.
