ZW - Asura Strike

ZW - Asura Strike was released in the 2014 Legacy of the Valiant booster set, a core expansion for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game. It belongs to the ZW, or Zexal Weapon, archetype, which was designed to support the Number 39: Utopia monster series from the Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal anime. The card was created to provide players with a situational offensive boost, allowing it to be equipped from the hand to a Utopia monster to increase its attack and grant the ability to attack all monsters the opponent controls.

The artwork for the card follows the mechanical, high-tech aesthetic characteristic of the Zexal Weapon line, featuring stylized armor plating consistent with the show's aesthetic. As a Rare-tier card in the set, it was intended as a common utility piece for players focusing on Zexal-themed decks. While it saw moderate play among fans of the anime's signature strategies, it remains a thematic piece reflecting the specific mechanical synergies introduced during the Zexal era of the game.
